70th birthday of Farhad Badalbeyli
Azerbaijani and Russian professional music schools always had close creative contacts, and this mutual enrichment always brought wonderful results. Meanwhile, Azerbaijani musical culture is very original, due to the fact that it uses age-old traditions and experience of magnificent modern European school. Since the end of 19th and beginning of 20th century, Azerbaijan gave brightest composers and performers to the world. Today, it hosts events of the highest level, such as the Rostropovich Festival or the Gabala Music Festival. Best artists are honored to perform there. At the same time, Azerbaijan itself successfully presents talented musicians to the world, including many young people.
On December 13, at the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra will congratulate Azerbaijani pianist, composer, public figure Farhad Badalbeyli on his 70th birthday. Starting of as a pianist, then touring around the world, Farhad Badalbeyli eventually became one of the most prominent public figures of Azerbaijan. Thanks to him, Azerbaijani musical culture successfully develops not only inside the country, but also abroad.
Farkhad Badalbeyli's jubilee concert will be attended by famous Azerbaijani musicians, as well as young talents, whose career is experiencing a rapid rise. Fuad Ibrahimov, Eyyub Kuliev, Yalchin Adigezalov, Murad Adigizalzade, Azar Rzazade and Ciara Isotton will perform at the event. The program includes Balash aria from "Sevil" opera, Leonora's aria from La forza del destino (The Force of Destiny), Ave Maria and many more.
