Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in early January 2013 that Iran will not build a nuclear bomb until 2014. Many observers considered it a three-year speculation of the Iranian issue by Netanyahu who caused panic in the Israeli society, passing off economic problems. However, the words by Benjamin Netanyahu have now become understandable.
Reza Halili, an officer of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution working for the CIA who left Iran and entered the US, said on January 27 that a blast happened in an Iranian nuclear facility about a week ago.
The blast was sensed at a radius of 6km. It destroyed uranium deposits. 240 workers were left underground. To help them to escape unprecedented rescuing measures were used. All roads at a radius of 25km were closed, including the Tehran-Kum Highway. Halili said that the nuclear program will need several years to catch up the schedule.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad held a meeting in Tehran and blamed Mossad for the blast. Explosive items seems to be hidden and taken to the facility among constructing materials or unreached uranium.
Israel denies its involvement into the blast, but even European officials suspected Mossad. They pay attention to the features which are typical for Israeli Special Services: the blast happened with minimal injuries.
Iran tries to diminish consequences of the “Israeli terrorist attack” and states that in the nearest future inreached uranium resources will be renewed. However, experts believe that Reza Halili tells the truth. Hamidreza Zakari, another Iranian deserter, confirmed Halili’s words.
Does it mean that after such a powerful strike on the Iranian nuclear power Israel intends to loosen pressure on the international society, demanding Iran to stop all works on creating a nuclear bomb? No, it doesn’t. It is confirmed by numerous meetings of Israeli President Shimon Peres in Davos.
He met Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili to discuss relations in the Caucasus, Israeli-Palestinian negotiations and the Iranian problem.
The press service of President stated only that meetings between Peres and Aliyev and Ivanishvili were very friendly and the sides came to complete mutual understanding. We should remind you that Shimon Peres and Ilham Aliyev are old friends, and they are always glad to meet at this or that international forum.
