Kremlin: Putin and Trump hold constructive conversation
The telephone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Donald Trump was constructive, the Kremlin spokesman Dmintry Peskov said.
According to Peskov, Putin thanked Trump for offering assistance in investigating the Antonov An-148 plane crash, as well as informed him about the steps the Interstate Aviation Committee had been taking.
"In this case, the president did indeed thank his US counterpart for conveying condolences over the recent aircraft crash," TASS cited the spokesman as saying.
Peskov noted that Putin and Trump had touched upon the North Korea issue, but there was "no thorough exchange of views."
