12 countries ready to participate in OPEC meeting
Twelve countries have agreed to participate in the OPEC meeting in Doha, Bloomberg reports with reference to the Minister of Energy of Qatar.
The head of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, Alexander Novak, in his turn, said that 15 countries may take part in the meeting on April 17.
Ecuador's oil minister has already confirmed his participation. "No single oil-producing country is ready to sustain current prices. We are interested in changing this reality. We are optimistic about achieving an agreement which will establish a beneficial oil price," RIA Novosti cited him as saying.
