Armenia uses UAV against Azerbaijani army, injures one soldier
The Armenian armed forces have once again used an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) against the Azerbaijani army, injuring a serviceman, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said in a message July 25, Trend reports.
According to the message, the Armenian UAV dropped an improvised bomb filled with incendiary and explosive substances as well as metal fragments onto the Azerbaijani armed forces’ positions on the line of contact near the Tartar District. As a result, the Azerbaijani soldier Muraz Babakishiyev suffered minor injuries.
Babakishiyev was taken to a hospital and his life is out of danger.
The Defense Ministry said Azerbaijan is taking measures to suppress the provocations.
