Armenian Defense Minister on weapon purchased by country
The Armenian Armed Forces are buying mainly new weapons, Armenian Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan said during a preliminary discussion of the draft state budget for 2020..
“In 2019 and 2020, only new, modern weapons were purchased from different countries,” Tonoyan said, referring to four countries.
He noted that Su fighters purchased by Armenia will arrive in the republic in December-February, News.am reported.
It is planned to allocate AMD 200 million from Armenia's state budget in 2020 for the implementation of only the cooperation program between universities and the private sector, for the training and retraining of employees.
