Armenian Foreign Ministry holds political consultations with Romania
Political consultations between the Armenian and Romanian Foreign Ministries were held in Yerevan yesterday, the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.
The Armenian delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Avet Adonts and the Romanian delegation was headed by Romanian Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Dan Neculaescu.
A wide range of issues related to the development of the Armenian-Romanian relations were discussed during the consultations. The sides also touched upon the latest developments in the region, as well as the prospects of expanding the cooperation between the two countries within the framework of Armenia-EU relations and international organizations.
Greeting the Romanian delegation with the first direct flight from Bucharest to Yerevan, Adonts noted that it will play an important role in the development of trade-economic, tourism and educational-cultural cooperation in bilateral relations, News.am reported.
