Astana talks on Syria to be extended amid opposition arrival
The third round of Syria reconciliation talks in Astana will be extended for one day amid Syrian armed opposition arrival, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry's representative said.
Members of the Syrian armed opposition may arrive to the Kazakh capital Astana on Wednesday night, a source close to the negotiations said.
"The opposition may arrive this night. The information is yet to be officially confirmed," TASS cited the source as saying.
Opposition representatives earlier said they refuse to attend the reconciliation meeting in Astana due to alleged violations of the ceasefire in Syria.
