Beatrice Gerulaite: I am impressed with the way European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships is organized in Baku
The first impressions on the organization of competitions by the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation are only positive, Lithuanian gymnast Beatrice Gerulaitė said, speaking with the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza after her performance with ribbon and clubs at the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Baku.
“This is my first time in Baku and at the European Championships, and I am impressed with the way AGF organized the tournament. Everything is worked out, I really like everything, ”she said.
“Here is a wonderful hotel, excellent training conditions, and an amazing arena. I am amused that the audience supports every gymnast,” Beatrice Gerulaitė said.
Baku is hosting the 35th European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships at the National Gymnastics Arena. Athletes from 35 countries are taking part in the championships. During the four-day championships, senior female gymnasts will perform in the individual program, while junior gymnasts will participate in the group exercise program. In total, the gymnasts will compete for 8 medal sets.
