Bill on visa-free entry for foreign fans introduced to Russian State Duma

The bill, granting multiple visa-free entry to foreign holders of Fan IDs till the end of the current year, was introduced to the Russian State Duma, the apparatus of the lower house of parliament said.

The initiative was proposed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Russia hosted its first-ever FIFA World Cup from June 14 to July 15. Eleven host cities, namely Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Kazan, Saransk, Kaliningrad, Volgograd, Rostov-on-Don, Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg and Samara, were selected to be the venues for the matches of the 2018 World Cup. On Sunday, Team France hammered Croatia 4-2 in the 2018 FIFA World Cup final match to clinch its second World Cup Trophy.
