Burjanadze: I'm going to run for Georgia's President
Ex-speaker of the Georgian parliament Nino Burjanadze said that she is going to run for President of Georgia.
She also noted that "everything depends on the actions of the Georgian Dream party". "They are changing the legislative norms," Burjanadze said in an interview with RT, recalling that the ruling party wants to change the legislation in order to "completely turn Georgia into a parliamentary republic."
"They wanted the next president to be elected not in direct elections, but in the parliament," the former chairman of the Georgian parliament added.
