Foreign leaders congratulate Nazarbayev on birthday and Astana's 20th anniversary
The heads of foreign states congratulate Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev on his birthday and Astana's 20th anniversary.
In a congratulatory letter, Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed confidence in further strengthening of cooperation and strategic partnership between Astana and Moscow, as well as in expansion of productive interaction of Kazakhstan and Russia within the EEU, CSTO, SCO, CIS and other international structures.
"Taking the post of head of state, You have gained honored esteem among Kazakhstan citizens, as well as high international authority. The ideas of Eurasian integration formed by you are gradually implemented and facilitate to social and economic development of our states, ensure stability and security on the continent," the letter reads.
President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping congratulated Nazarbayev and spoke highly of the development of cooperation between Kazakhstan and China, the Kazakh presidential press service said.
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko underlined that Belarus highly praises the personal contribution of Nursultan Nazarbayev in strengthening Belarussian-Kazakh relations that are strategic. "Your creative and multi-sided activity has turned Kazakhstan into a strong and independent country, and constructive and farsighted foreign policy has received wide recognition on the international arena," the letter says.
"I am certain that deepening of bilateral partnership will further serve interests of our friendly nations, development of the common Eurasian home," Lukashenko wrote.
Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished Nazarbayev success in all undertakings for the benefit of the people of Kazakhstan.
"Under your wise leadership brotherly Kazakhstan confidently reaches great success in social and economic development and gradually strengthens its authority on the international arena," he noted.
"A high level of our bilateral relations will further serve a profound basis for further strengthening Turkmen-Kazakh strategic partnership and interstate relations in all directions," Berdimuhamedov stressed.
Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili underlined that over a short term since independence Kazakhstan under the leadership of Nursultan Nazarbayev had established a strong, developed state with high international authority and trust.
"The symbol of the progress of modern Kazakhstan is certainly its capital city – Astana, which these days celebrates its 20 years since its establishment.
Margvelashvili emphasized Nazarbayev's "invaluable" contribution to the development and strengthening of cooperation between Georgia and Kazakhstan. "I express confidence that the tradition of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation between Georgia and the Republic of Kazakhstan will further strengthen," reads the letter.
Armenian President Armen Sarkisyan in his letter noted that the established constructive interaction between our states will allow to considerably enriching the agenda of Armenian-Kazakh international cooperation. "The rich experience of your state activity, the ability to firmly justify interests of the Republic of Kazakhstan and solve the establishment of wide international cooperation have gained you deep esteem and commonly recognized authority on the international arena," his letter says.
King of Spain Felipe VI also sent a congratulatory letter. "I always remember the hospitality with which You received me in Your country on the occasion of my visit to the opening ceremony of the Astana EXPO-2017 International exhibition. Owing to this wonderful opportunity, I could see how your capital city has turned into a large city with modern infrastructure looking forward to the future," the letter says.
The President of Poland Andrzej Duda noted that friendly relations between Kazakhstan and Poland prove productive bilateral cooperation.
"Kazakhstan remains one of the important partners of Poland in the Central Asian region. I deeply esteem your participation in solving global issues. One example of that was the initiative of Kazakhstan to chair in the US Security Council, including the high-level debates in which I had an honor to take part. I hope that your actions will facilitate strengthening of peace and security in the region and in the world," Duda noted.
President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic congratulated Kazakhstan citizens on the 20th anniversary of Astana and wished success to the Kazakh head of state on his responsible post. "I express my delight with the success that Kazakhstan has reached," the letter says.
President of Bulgaria Rumen Radev expressed satisfaction by the development of interstate dialogue based both on a bilateral basis, and within relations between the European Union and Kazakhstan.
"I am sure that friendly relations between our states and peoples continue contributing to the strengthening of our political, economic and cultural cooperation in all spheres," the president stressed.
