Four dead amid explosion in Iran's Chabahar
Four people have been killed and several more injured following a car bomb explosion in the largest port city in Sistan-and-Balochistan province, Chabahar.
The blast near Chabahar's police headquarters on Shahid Rigi Boulevard has been confirmed by deputy security chief of the province Mohammad Hadi Marashi.
The governor of Sistan-and-Baluchestan Province, Rahmdel Bamari, said that four people had been killed and many others injured. “Terrorists attacked the police post in Chabahar with an explosives-laden vehicle," IRNA cited him as saying.
According to unnamed sources, sporadic shooting had followed the explosion.
