Gas pipeline may connect Crimea and Europe, Novak says
It is possible that in the future Crimea and Europe will be connected by a gas pipeline, although this idea has not yet been considered by the government, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said at the Russian Energy Week forum today.
"We didn’t think about supplying gas to Europe through Crimea. Now we do not consider this idea, but in the future, I do not exclude that such projects can be considered. Now it’s not in our attention area,” TASS quotes the minister as saying.
