Georgia to lose million of Russian tourists

For the six months of 2019, revenues from foreign tourists' visits in Georgia amounted to $1.5 billion, which is $95.4 million more compared to the same period last year, according to the Georgian National Tourism Administration.

For the six months, the number of Russian tourists in Georgia amounted to more than 700,000 people (out of 3.9 million international tourists), while the country's authorities expected this number will reach 1.7 million by the end of the year, Sputnik Georgia reported.
