Azerbaijan supply natural gas to Georgia without problem, The First Deputy Chair of the Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Committee, Zaza Khutsishvili said at the 10th annual session of the GUAM Parliamentary Assembly (PA) held in Tbilisi, APA reports.
The MP noted that Azerbaijan is a friend and reliable partner of Georgia: ‘Major part of natural gas in Georgia is supplied by Azerbaijan. As the demand for natural gas increases in the winter, the Georgian government decided to build an underground gas storehouse. After construction of the storehouse, there will be no problem with natural gas supply to Georgia’.
Khutsishvili also highly appreciated SOCAR’s role in natural gas supply to Georgia’s regions and villages.
