Georgian football player to continue his career in US
Vice-captain of the Georgian national football team Guram Kashia will continue his career in the San Jose Earthquakes, which he joined from Dutch Eredivisie side Vitesse Arnhem a month ago.
The Georgian defender has already got acquainted with the team, the management and inspected the Avaya Stadium, Sputnik Georgia reports.
Details of the 31-year-old player's contract with San Jose Earthquakes are not yet known.
A product of the academy at his hometown club FC Dinimo Tbilisi, Kashia was named the Georgian Footballer of the Year in 2012 and 2013 and holds 64 international caps, including 19 World Cup qualifiers.
