Gymnasts always like competing in Baku, coaches of Israeli, Kazakh teams say
It's always great to participate in international competitions in Baku thanks to the high-quality of the National Gymnastic Arena and flawless organization of tournaments, head coach of the Israeli national team in artistic gymnastics Sergey Weissburg and head coach of the Kazakh national team in artistic gymnastics Alexander Kim said in an interview with Vestnik Kavkaza.
"We have already visited Baku several times and it's always great here. This time we're here with the strongest team, headed by Alexander Shatilov, and we're planning to get into the finals and get medals," Sergey Weissburg said.
He highlighted the arena. "We really like to perform here, everything is at the highest level. We say many arenas, and I can say for sure that this one is the best in Europe, if not the best in the world" he noted.
Alexander Kim also praised the level of the National Gymnastic Arena. "We arrived at the invitation of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation for a 10-day training to prepare for the World Cup and will stay here right till the tournament," he told.
"I think that when I get home I will tell about the conditions in Baku, and then we will visit Azerbaijan for a series of training camps," he stressed.
