Hookah smoking to be restricted in Tajikistan
A new tobacco law will put ban on hookah smoking in restaurants and bars in Tajikistan.
Under the new technical regulations, the front side of cigarette and hookah tobacco packs will contain the main cautionary warning. The cautionary warning and tobacco warning pictures should occupy no less than 75% of spaces of both sides of the packs.
The bill will prohibit smoking in bars, cafes and restaurants, as well as in administrative buildings, offices, entrances of apartment houses, elevators, underground passages, airports, railway stations, hostels and public transport, Sputnik Tajikistan reported.
