Ilham Aliyev and Poroshenko discuss investment in Ukraine
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko discussed the projects to increase investment in the Ukrainian economy at the World Economic Forum in Davos, the Ukrainian president's press service said.
They exchanged views over the boosting cooperation in the fields of investment, energy, agriculture, infrastructure.
During the conversation, issues related to the bilateral and mutual interest were discussed.
Aliyev noted that Azerbaijani investments in Ukraine reached $200 million.
During the meeting, the sides also expressed satisfaction with the development of relations between the two countries in political, economic and other fields. The importance of the visit of the Ukrainian President to Azerbaijan in terms of boosting relations were emphasized.
Active cooperation of both countries in international organizations, as well as support of each other's sovereignty and territorial integrity was stressed, Trend reports.
