The Azerbaijani-Iranian car plant is being built in accordance with an agreement concluded between Iran’s Iran Khodro and Azerbaijan’s AzEuroCar LLC. The plant is expected to be commissioned in early 2018.
According to Trend , the Iranian president will visit Azerbaijan following a trilateral meeting of foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Iran and Turkey, to be held in Baku on December 19-20.
Jahangirzadeh added that a meeting of the Iran-Azerbaijan joint intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation will be held in Iran’s Astara in late December. The members of the intergovernmental commission will take part in the opening of a terminal in Astara, discuss joint investment and railway projects, as well as sign a contract on the North-South Transport Corridor.
