Iran to dismantle reactor core in Arak in short timeframe
Iranian specialists will complete work on dismantling the core of the heavy water reactor in Arak in two or three weeks, Russia’s permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna, Vladimir Voronkov, said.
"The Iranians say this work can be completed in 2 or 3 weeks," TASS cited Voronkov as saying.
According to Russia’s Permanent Representative, Iran will send the surplus amount of enriched uranium to Russia already in the coming days.
"The logistics have been established through the port at Bushehr and it will be loaded and sent to Russia in the coming days," he said.
