Iran urges U.S. to abide by JCPOA
Tehran has urged Washington to abide by the nuclear deal, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said.
"Our advice to Europe and the United States is to go back to logic and to the negotiating table. Go back to understanding, to respecting the law and resolutions of the UN Security Council. Under those conditions, all of us can abide by the nuclear deal," the Washington Post cited the president as saying.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, in turn, said that the country will be committed to JCPOA, as long as the European side comply with it.
"Iran is committed to the full implementation of theJCPOA: as long as E3/EU implement THEIR economic commitments. So moving forward, Iran will comply with its commitments under the JCPOA in exactly the same manner as the EU/E3 have - and will - comply with theirs," Zarif wrote on Twitter.
