Johannes Hahn visits Tbilisi
The European Union Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy Johannes Hahn will arrive in Georgia today. During the three-day visit, he will hold meetings with high-ranking representatives of the executive and legislative authorities, as well as with representatives of the parliamentary opposition.
"At the meetings, the sides will consider the priority issues of Georgia's cooperation with the European Union, as well as the reforms carried out in Georgia within the framework of the Association Agreement. Georgia's expectations will be discussed from the Eastern Partnership summit, which is planned in Brussels in November this year, will be also discussed," Sputnik-Georgia cited the press service of the Georgian Foreign Ministry as saying.
Within the framework of the visit, it is also planned to sign a financial agreement, which provides assistance in the amount of 32 million euros to Georgia for the implementation of the Association Agreement.
