US Deputy Secretary of Energy Dan Brouillette said that a regular strategic energy dialogue will be launched between the US and Kazakhstan.
"I am glad that we agreed to strengthen our cooperation and launch a regular strategic dialogue on energy in recognition of the importance of energy sources in bilateral relations," Brouillette said following the meeting with his Kazakh counterpart Kanat Bozumbaev.
He stressed that the United States and Kazakhstan will work together to promote civilian nuclear power.
Brouillette also invited Bozumbaev to Washington to officially launch a strategic energy dialogue between the two countries, RIA Novosti reported.
