Kerry isn't happy with cheap oil out of pity for Russians
US Secretary of State John Kerry said at Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government that the decline in world oil prices has an impact on the Russian economy.
He expressed the view that the decline in prices strongly affected the budget and possibilities of choice for those states which are causing problems. "The decline in oil prices coupled with the introduction of sanctions has created difficulties in the Russian economy," TASS cited the US Secretary of State as saying.
Kerry drew attention to the fact that Washington was “not looking to hurt the Russian people.
He also stressed that the US is trying to ensure that the changes have been made in regard to the Ukraine, "I think that in the next month we will see whether it is possible," John Kerry summed up.
