Kiev declares TV war against Crimea
The authorities of Kiev intend to expand the broadcasting of the Ukrainian TV and radio channels to Crimea, a member of the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting, Sergei Kostinsky, said.
According to him, next year, the Ukrainian broadcasting will be carried out to Crimea year via two towers- Chongarsky and Chaplinskaya.
Recall, since September Ukraine has been broadcasting to Crimea five TV channels via the tower in Chongar. Though, according to Deputy Prime Minister of the Crimean government Dmitry Polonsky, ‘’there is no Ukrainian TV broadcasting on the peninsula, as it has never been before,’’ RIA Novosti quotes him as saying, adding that the Public Chamber of Crimea called the project a failure.
