Kremlin: Putin preparing for 5th Caspian Summit
Russian President Vladimir Putin is preparing for the "Caspian Five" meeting in Aktau, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"The president’s preparations for his working visit to Aktau, Kazakhstan, on Sunday continue. It will be a meeting of the ‘Caspian Five,’"TASS cited Peskov as saying.
The fifth Caspian Summit will be held in Aktau, Kazakhstan, on August 12. It will be attended by the state leaders of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Russia and Turkmenistan. The final document of the summit will be the Convention on the Legal Status of the Caspian Sea. Its draft was coordinated at the meeting of the Caspian Sea states’ foreign ministers on December 4-5, 2017, in Moscow.
