Kremlin dismisses existence of compromising material on Trump

The Kremlin dismissed a leaked report on alleged Russian ties to US President-elect Donald Trump as a “complete fake,” President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said today.

The spokesman also denied the Kremlin has any compromising material on Trump or Hillary Clinton, rejecting allegations he was personally involved in any such efforts.

"The quality of the public version of the previous report ans this hoax is comparable. The allegations are 'pulp fiction',” Sputnik cited Peskov as saying.

"Surely, we should react to it with the same sense of humor." he added that there is a "sad side to it": "There are people who are whipping up hysteria, going out of their way to keep up the atmosphere of a witch hunt."
