Kremlin on Putin-Trump meeting: ball in U.S. court

A meeting between Russian and U.S. Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump is not being discussed now, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

Earlier, the U.S. leader made a decision to cancel his meeting with Putin, which had been scheduled to be held on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Buenos Aires, the Kremlin spokesman recalled, adding that in this case Moscow has nothing more to initiate here, TASS reported.

"The ball is in Washington’s court," Peskov said, answering a question if Russia plans to initiate new talks between the two leaders.
