Kremlin on Trump-Kim summit: practice of small steps towards each other not working
Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov commented on U.S. President Donald Trump’s meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
Moscow is receiving first preliminary information about the outcome of Trump’s talks with Kim. "Certainly, it needs to be further analyzed," TASS cited the spokesman as saying.
At the same time, Peskov noted that now there is such an "impression that the practice of small mutual steps towards each other and showing flexibility towards each other based on these steps is still not working."
"As far as we understand, the lack of this practice and unreasonably high demands certainly may lead to creating troublesome moments in the negotiating process," the presidential spokesman concluded.
