Kvirikashvili and Yildirim discuss bilateral cooperation at dinner
Georgian Prime Minister Georgy Kvirikashvili and his Turkish counterpart Binali Yildirym have held a meeting, which took place in the format of the dinner in Batumi during an unofficial visit of the Turkish Prime Minister, which lasted only a few hours, the website of the Georgian government said.
The heads of government noted the positive dynamics of the development of the strategic partnership between Tbilisi and Ankara. They also discussed preparatory work for the second meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council between Turkey and Georgia, which will be held in 2017.
Kvirikashvili explained that Georgia is ready to host this high-level event, which will also be dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Georgia and Turkey, Sputnik-Georgia reports.
