Lukashenko says he doesn't want EU to collapse
The European Union is the pillar of the world, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he met with outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Fionna Gibb.
According to the Belarusian leader, the United States, China, India and Russia are also pillars of the world.
He said that despite the sanction imposed on Belarus by the EU, he is not in favor of its collapse, BelTA reported.
Lukashenko said that if the EU collapses, the world will start reeling, which will also hurt stability in the Eurasian region.
