MEPs back EU-Armenia agreement

The European Parliament voted to give its consent to the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) on Wednesday, reported.

MEPs backed the deal by 573 votes to 50, with 45 abstentions, the EP official website says.

The lawmakers also adopted the accompanying resolution on the EU-Armenia relations with 598 votes to 52 and 27 abstentions.
