Mary Golota: spectators’ support at the Trampoline & Tumbling World Cup in Baku is very important to me
Audience’s support is extremely important for gymnasts, and in Azerbaijan it is on a high level, Russian trampoline athlete Mary Golota, who qualified the fifth at the Trampoline & Tumbling World Cup in Baku, told to the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza.
The gymnast admitted that it was very interesting to perform at the National gymnastics arena in Baku. "I really liked it here, it was very cool. The audience support, and it is also very important for me,’’ Mary Golota said.
She also added that she was impressed by Baku. "I like it very much. It is very beautiful here, especially buildings,’’ the Russian trampoline gymnast said.
The 1st Trampoline & Tumbling World Cup of the new Olympic cycle takes place at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku on February 18-19. The competition is attended by 85 gymnasts from 15 countries. Their performances are evaluated under the new rules, which came into force in 2017.
