Medvedev orders to present new Administrative Code concept by June 1

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev instructed by June 1 to present the concept of a new Russian Administrative Offense Code, the corresponding order was published on Saturday on the government web site, TASS reports.

"The Russian Ministry of Justice (A. Konovalov) together with the Russian Ministry of Economic Development (M. Oreshkin) with the participation of interested state authorities and expert organizations have been instructed to update and systematize the legal regulation in the field of administrative responsibility to prepare to the Government of the Russian Federation, the concept of the new code of the Russian Federation on administrative offenses," the document says.

Deputy Prime Minister and the Head of the Russian Government Office Konstantin Chuichenko has been assigned to coordinate the work process.
