Nazarbayev: global integration in Eurasia beneficial for all
First president of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev invited the European Union joined the Eurasian Economic Union and China’s Belt and Road Initiative.
If the EU joined the EEU and China’s Belt and Road Initiative, a global integration would be achieved in Eurasia beneficial for all, he said at the One Belt One Road international forum in Beijing.
He noted that the Silk Road Economic Belt refutes numerous theories of globalization failure and rigid regionalism, AKIpres reported.
Nazarbayev also noted that he likes the idea that "through One Belt and Road Initiative Chinese President Xi Jinping calls for joint shaping one future of the humankind."
The Belt and Road Initiative is a development strategy adopted by the Chinese government involving infrastructure development and investments in more than 60 countries and international organizations in Europe, Asia, Middle East, Latin America and Africa.
