Nazarbayev tells what threatens fair competition

Kazakhstan's President Nursultan Nazarbayev said that wars of sanctions bear threats to international trade and fair competition.

"Wars of sanctions bear threats to international trade and fair competition, under the pretext of political pressure economic goals are pursued and vice versa on the contrary," Nazarbayev said at the 3rd meeting of the Astana Club on the topic entitled 'Greater Eurasia - 2027: Confrontation or Partnership.'

He stressed that the new trade world order is being shaped through the formation of large blocks led by competing economic centers, which may reduce the role of the WTO and increase protectionism, Interfax reported.
