Russian-Azerbaijani relations are very important in the context of the tasks set by Russian President Vladimir Putin in the course of his address to the Federal Assembly, the head of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development Maxim Oreshkin said.
He recalled the existence of a special group that promotes the strengthening of trade and economic ties with Azerbaijan. "The President spoke about the importance of export development, the development of external relations, and our relations with Azerbaijan are very important in this sense. I plan to visit Baku in the coming month, we have a very active agenda, and I think there will be a lot of joint projects that will benefit both Russia and Azerbaijan," the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza cited the minister as saying.
"In due time, there will be a visit, within which the official talks with representatives of the Azerbaijani government will be held. We expect it will take place in April," he said.
