Pashinyan and Tsarukyan agree on parliamentary election
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the Prosperous Armenia party leader Gagik Tsarukyan signed a memorandum approving the idea of organization of early parliamentary election in December, Pashinyan wrote on his Facebook page.
In this memorandum, Tsarukyan Bloc, as political force supporting the revolution, assumes the commitment not to nominate its own candidate and not to support any other force’s candidate for the prime-ministerial position if Nikol Pashinyan resigns.
Tsarukyan Bloc faction MPs will also refrain from taking part in any initiative aimed at nomination of prime-ministerial candidate.
The parties of the memorandum are obliged to observe the mutual respect principle in their election campaigns, ARKA reported.
