Peskov: I read Hürriyet, Sabah and Cumhuriyet to practice my Turkish
Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said he reads Turkish newspapers to practice his Turkish.
"I read the newspapers, but I don't now know the new ones. I read Hürriyet, Sabah and Cumhuriyet," he noted.
"I did not study journalism, so I could not say that there was a definite appeal to me," Peskov told Hurriyet newspaper in an interview. "I was still interested in information and knowledge," the spokesman explained.
Speaking about his work with the Turkish language, the Kremlin spokesman said that he was friends with Cenk Başlamış, who worked in Moscow office of Milliyet.
Peskov noted that he speaks in Turkish sometimes when his Turkish friends visit Moscow.
