Poroshenko tells about his conversation with Putin
Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, Ukrainian media reported citing its sources.
"The president of Ukraine held a telephone conversation with the Russian president to activate the release of Ukrainian hostages, in particular the swap of captured border guards and the release of Ukrainian soldiers in the occupied territories," Interfax-Ukraine cited the Ukrainian Presidential Administration's press service as saying.
It is also reported that the agenda of the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Normandy Four, scheduled for February 16 in Munich, was also discussed.
According to the press service, the conversation took place in coordination with European partners in the Norman format.
The Kremlin has not yet confirmed this information.
