Presidents of Russia, Turkey and Iran to discuss Syria in Istanbul - media
Russia’s President Vladimir Putin, Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Iran's President Hassan Rouhani will discuss the conflict in Syria in Istanbul, a Turkish presidential source said.
Turkey and Russia agreed that their next three-way summit with Iran to discuss the conflict in Syria will be held in Istanbul, a Turkish presidential source said.
Putin and his Turkish counterpart agreed today to hold the next summit on Syria in Istanbul during their phone discussion. They also agreed to speed up the establishment of military observation posts in Syria's Idlib region, and discussed the humanitarian situation in eastern Ghouta, near Damascus, Reuters reported.
