Relations with Azerbaijan should be protected and developed - Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry
The Azerbaijani-Belarusian business forum opened in Baku today.
Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich, who takes part in the meeting of business circles of the two countries, speaking with the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza, said that there are 58 enterprises with the participation of Azerbaijani capital in Belarus, 70 Belarusian companies are represented on the Azerbaijani market. Ho noted that the forum was visited by a delegation of 15 companies.
Ulakhovich stressed that relations with Azerbaijan are an asset that should be protected. "We must strengthen the relations, established by the leaders of our countries," he said. The current trade turnover does not correspond to the potential, the head of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry believes.
Ulakhovich also drew attention to the fact that over the past two years there has been a trend towards its growth. It is quite possible to increase the trade turnover to $2 billion, he said. Ulakhovich added that in Belarus, they are very fond of Azerbaijani products, especially tomatoes.
