Rouhani: I not to allow western sanctions to come back
Iran's presidential candidate Hassan Rouhani promised that sanctions will never be allowed to come back to the country, if he wins in the elections on May 19.
Rouhani noted that his administration has always tried to defend the rights of the Iranian nation. "We joined hands to lift the sanctions and we managed to do it,' IRNA cited him as saying.
"We can counter dusts only through cooperation and interaction with regional states and setting fire on embassies of other countries will solve no problem," he said.
The presidential candidate further noted that in the absence of unity and security and correct relations with the neighbors, progress will be impossible and there is no choice except interaction and friendship with neighboring states.
Rouhani called for massive turnout in the upcoming election on May 19, saying that if people want problems to be solved, they should come to the polls on Friday.
