Russian-Kazakh Technology Innovation Forum opens in Yekaterinburg
The Ural Federal University (UrFU) is hosting the International Russian-Kazakh Technology Innovation Forum (FORTEH) in Yekaterinburg.
The forum was organized by UrFU and Kazakh National Technical University. The event will be attended by the universities of Kazakhstan and the Urals Federal District, as well as the authorities, academies, institutes of development of the two countries, the expert community.
"The objectives of the forum are very relevant in the light of emerging trends in the world economy and show the special role and importance that we attach to the expansion of cross-border ties in the field of education, science and innovation of the EEU participating countries. An active cooperation will create a joint innovation clusters on a bilateral basis," the First Vice President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nuraly Bekturganov, said.
The forum will last until November 19.
