Saakashvili secretly offers out of court settlement to Poroshenko
"Misha suggests de-escalation," Ukrainian media write with a reference to their own sources.
The former president of Georgia and former governor of the Odessa region, the current leader of the opposition Movement of the New Forces, Mikhail Saakashvili, sent a letter with the proposal of peace to the President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko.
It is specified that the supporters of Saakashvili do not know anything about the letter. "I do not know anything about this. The reconciliation is possible for us, if they fulfill all our demands - the creation of anti-corruption court, election law, impeachment law and the resignation of the prosecutor general," Yury Derevyanko said.
Earlier it was reported that Saakashvili announced his readiness to sacrifice his life in order to "stop the dictatorship," Gazeta.ru writes.
