Samruk-Kazyna to be headed by Akhmetzhan Yesimov
As the government of Kazakhstan reported today, the former head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic and the former akim of Almaty, Akhmetzhan Yesimov, was appointed today as the head of the National Welfare Fund Samruk-Kazyna. In recent years, he headed the JSC NC EXPO-2017 ASTANA. Yessimov has already been presented to the Fund’s staff by Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev and the head of the presidential administration, Adilbek Dzhaksybekov.
Sagintayev stressed that during many years of work, Yessimov confirmed his professionalism and ability to complete the most complicated state tasks, the last of which was the holding of the International Exhibition ‘EXPO-2017’.
