Series of concerts to be held in Tbilisi in memory of Jansug Kakhidze
A series of concerts entitled ‘Songs of Jansug Kakhidze’, dedicated to the memory of the famous Georgian composer and conductor, will be held in Tbilisi in March. The evenings will be held on the stage of the Kakhidze Music and Cultural Center.
The first concert will be symbolically held on March 7th, on the day of the maestro's death. Among the participants are the Tbilisi Symphony Orchestra, Folk Singing and Dancing State Ensemble ‘Rustavi’, as well as Nani Bregvadze’s daughter performer Eka Mamaladze. Jansug Kakhidze’s son Vakhtang Kakhidze will perform as a conductor, pianist, singer and author of the orchestral songs.
