Several terrorist teams arrested in Iran after riots
The Iranian security forces disbanded several terrorist teams that had played major roles in the recent protests in the country.
The intelligence ministry announced in a statement that its forces identified and disbanded a terrorist team in the Western town of Sardasht, who had infiltrated into the country to conduct terrorist acts.
According to the statement, the security forces discovered and seized three Kalashnikov weapons and a large volume of military equipment from the terrorist team.
Also, the security forces identified the hideout of three terrorists "affiliated to one of the anti-revolutionary groups sheltered in Europe", as they were building explosives, including Molotov cocktails.
Meantime, three other terrorists were arrested in the Southern province of Fars with a large volume of equipment to make Molotov cocktails.
The ministry statement said that the group had also prepared extremist texts and handouts which invited different ethnic groups in Iran to armed measures against the Islamic Republic, the Fars news agency reported.
